These guidelines help keep SoftMood safe, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone.

1. Our Commitment to a Safe Community
SoftMood is a platform built for authentic expression, creativity, and connection. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all users. These guidelines apply to all content, interactions, and behavior on SoftMood — including posts, reels, novellas, comments, messages, live streams, and profile information. Violations of these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban, depending on severity. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement.
2. Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use SoftMood. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a user is under 13, we will immediately terminate their account and delete their data. If you believe a child under 13 is using SoftMood, please report it to us at Joesoft@softmood.net.
3. Prohibited Content
Sexual Content & Nudity
Explicit sexual content, nudity, or pornographic material is strictly prohibited. This includes content that depicts, promotes, or glorifies sexual acts. Content that sexualizes minors in any way will result in immediate account termination and will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
Violence & Graphic Content
Content that depicts, glorifies, or incites real-world violence, gore, or harm to people or animals is not allowed. Fictional violence in creative content (novellas, stories) is permitted only when it does not glorify real-world harm.
Hate Speech & Discrimination
Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics is strictly prohibited.
Harassment & Bullying
Targeted harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation of any individual is not allowed. This includes repeated unwanted contact, sharing personal information without consent (doxxing), and coordinated harassment campaigns.
Misinformation & Harmful Content
Deliberately false or misleading information that could cause real-world harm — including medical misinformation, election interference, or crisis misinformation — is prohibited.
Dangerous & Illegal Activities
Content that promotes, facilitates, or glorifies illegal activities — including drug trafficking, weapons sales, human trafficking, fraud, or terrorism — is strictly prohibited.
Spam & Inauthentic Behavior
Spam, artificial engagement manipulation (buying followers/likes), coordinated inauthentic behavior, and the use of bots or automated tools to interact with the platform are prohibited.
Intellectual Property Violations
Do not post content that infringes on the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of others. Repeated infringement will result in account termination.
4. Content Standards
All content on SoftMood must meet the following standards: • Be truthful and not deliberately misleading • Respect the privacy and dignity of others • Not impersonate real people or organizations in a deceptive manner • Not contain malware, phishing links, or other malicious code • Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction Content that violates these standards will be removed. Repeated violations will result in account suspension or termination.
5. Creator Responsibilities
If you create content on SoftMood — including posts, reels, novellas, or live streams — you are responsible for ensuring your content complies with these guidelines and all applicable laws. Creators participating in monetization programs must additionally: • Maintain content quality standards • Disclose sponsored content and paid partnerships • Not engage in deceptive advertising practices • Comply with applicable advertising regulations (FTC guidelines, etc.) Failure to meet creator responsibilities may result in removal from monetization programs.
6. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it using the in-app reporting tools or contact us directly at Joesoft@softmood.net. We review all reports and take appropriate action. We may not be able to share the outcome of every report, but we take all reports seriously. For urgent safety concerns — including imminent threats of violence or child exploitation — please also contact your local law enforcement immediately.
7. Enforcement
We enforce these guidelines through a combination of automated systems and human review. Enforcement actions may include: • Content removal • Warning notifications • Temporary account suspension • Permanent account termination • Reporting to law enforcement (for serious violations) We aim to apply our guidelines consistently and fairly. If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by contacting us at Joesoft@softmood.net with the subject line "Content Appeal."
8. Updates to These Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, community needs, or legal requirements. We will notify users of significant changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of SoftMood after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
